Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds of the Komen Madison Race for the Cure® remain in the Dane County area to fund vital breast cancer screening, education and awareness initiatives. The remaining twenty-five percent helps fund the Komen Foundation's National Research Program.

75% of the net proceeds from the Komen Madison Race for the Cure® will remain in the Dane County area to fund vital breast cancer screening, education and awareness initiatives. The remaining 25% helps to fund the Komen Foundation's National Grant Program.
The Madison Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
